You never know what God will do.
In 2011, I had my first trip to Kenya with John Cairns Ministries, it was a trip that marked my life forever, It changed my belief of who Jesus is, it opened my eyes to what is possible by speaking the name of Jesus, there were encounters I had witnessed from God that I had not seen before, it changed my life, we saw Acts 4:30 HAPPEN Acts 4:30 Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus, we saw miracles of healings, provision and salvations, so much I could share.
But 1 miracle touched me as I had never seen so much joy in a man, I remember we prayed for one man whose knee was so badly damaged he could hardly walk, the power of God touched him and be began to run around the church, we had to call him back and I said to Pastor Jacqueline who was my interrupter and was praying with me at the time, what has happened? The man said, "I can now work and get a job to support my family, as no one would give me a job because I could not walk, run, or bend down properly.” Thank you, Jesus, it is the name of Jesus that brings breakthrough.
However there was one miracle I was unaware of, I finally went back to Kenya in 2023 with Leaders Network International and this man came up to me and said Malcolm do you remember me, I said sorry I don’t, this man is every bit of 6ft 4 he said my name is Patrick you gave me a Smiths Wigglesworth book when you were here last time, and while I was reading it the Power of God hit me The Holy Spirit Encountered me and changed my life. He said, "Jesus, I will give you my life to serve you." Patrick had been waiting all this time for me to come back and to hear his story. I said I do remember now, this young man was about 6ft when I gave him the book. He had certainly changed.
Patrick has become an amazing Pastor and leader in his community, serving as the pastor of a small church. Patrick Story's captures my heart, as you don’t know what God can do and who he can use!
We have been blessed, as we asked for help raising money for 11 Churches in Kenya to keep their doors open and help pay for the church registrations, after the Kenyan Government introduced a new law stating that if your church is not registered, you must close the doors and cannot open them, or operate at all. And Patrick's Church was one of them; he has now received the money and can now register the Church with the government.
