Mal’s Story
After his wife, Anita, was saved through Alpha, Mal experienced his own transformation and found salvation at the age of 37 in 2005. These personal stories demonstrate how encountering Jesus can change lives, inspiring others to seek Him. Together, they began their journey of discovering Jesus. In 2006, they had a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit that completely transformed their lives. The love of Jesus turned everything around for them.
Mal had previously struggled with addiction to drugs, smoking, and binge drinking. It was during his encounter with Jesus in 2006 that he found freedom from these addictions. His story of healing can encourage others to believe in Jesus' power to restore. Through his relationship with Jesus, a new story of freedom, healing, and transformation began.
Mal has a deep passion for helping others encounter Jesus and has witnessed hundreds of lives change while leading the Alpha courses. He has ministered both locally in Melbourne and internationally in countries such as New Zealand, Ghana, India, South Africa, Kenya, and Uganda. His story of transformation and prayer for others can inspire faith and hope worldwide, showing that Jesus' power is for everyone, everywhere.
In 2016, Mal became very sick with a type of Autoimmune disease; after a very long journey, we had a breakthrough, with blood tests confirming all is well, and we are seeing people healed in the name of Jesus. Many have experienced similar breakthroughs, confirming that Jesus still heals today. My prayer is to see those who have been held captive set free. Disease and sickness do not belong in your body. The devil's works must be stopped in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through these challenging times and life's trials that Mal has learned that Jesus is our source of hope and joy. Although we all face challenges in life, Jesus empowers us to overcome all difficulties.
